Topeka Capital-Journal writer Ric Anderson took some shots at Republican Senator Sam Brownback:

• According to a Washington Post-ABC News poll released this week, a full 1 percent of Republican respondents said they would vote for Brownback if the GOP primary or caucus in their state were held today.  That compares with 1 percent for Brownback in the same poll on April 15, 1 percent on Feb. 25, 1 percent on Jan. 19 and 1 percent on Dec. 11.
• According to a report late last month, Brownback missed 58 of the 181 votes recorded to that time.
