AFP regional summit this Saturday in Wichita
by Editor
From AFP:

More than 1,400 Americans for Prosperity (AFP) grassroots members from across the country participated in our second national Defending the American Dream Summit this past October 10th, in Washington, DC. About 50 Kansans attended the national event.

Due to the overwhelming response from our members, we will be hosting another Regional Summit in Wichita, Kan. on Saturday, January 10th.  I would like to invite you to attend this event, which will help kick off the 2009 Kansas Legislative session for our members.

We invite you to join grassroots activists from across the state to hear from National Review Online editor and syndicated columnist Jonah Goldberg, along with several of the nation’s leading free-market speakers and Kansas elected officials.

Americans for Prosperity is working to ensure our issues hold a prominent place within Kansas in the coming months, and more importantly to demonstrate that there exists a real and powerful grassroots movement focused on reining in out of control spending and taxation, advancing sound free market public policy and defending the American Dream.

AFP has a grassroots membership of more than 200,000 citizens from across the country, including more than 31,000 in Kansas alone.  Our mission is to mobilize grassroots activists to press for reining in government spending and regulation, lower taxes, and free-market solutions for key cost drivers like health care, education and transportation.
