John McCone and his 3 Guys With Wood team are going for an unprecedented third grand championship next weekend at the 28th Annual Great Lenexa Barbeque Battle.

McCone and his team won $2,500 and a banner proclaiming them Kansas State Champions in 2006 and again last year.
