KU Endowment Association hit by poor return on investments: Winfield Daily Courier
This year’s poor returns on investments by the University of Kansas Endowment Association became a lunchtime topic Wednesday between an Arkansas City businessman and the endowment association’s president.
Bill Docking, a trustee of the endowment association, discussed the economy and other matters with Dale Seuferling, association president, at a lunch at the Pizza Hut in Ark City, Docking said.
“It is unfortunate but not unexpected,” said Docking of the worst returns on investments for the association over the past several years.
“This is basically in line with other similar endowments of major universities. The significant market pullback under way since late last year and extending into this year is affecting everyone.”
