Pat Toomey campaign — Great new poll; Help us end the year strongly
This morning, a top political polling organization, Rasmussen Reports, released its latest poll for next year’s U.S. senate election in Pennsylvania. We at Team Toomey do not put much stock in polls taken nearly a year from Election Day, but the latest numbers are encouraging.
Before I give you a quick breakdown of the poll, I’d like to relay how important your continued support has been to us. We’re in a tremendously stong position heading into the new year, but it’s critical that we remain here - and grow even stronger throughout 2010.
Now a brief rundown of the numbers:
Rasmussen’s general election poll placed Pat ahead of both Sen. Arlen Specter and Rep. Joe Sestak.
Against Sen. Specter, Pat leads 46% to 42% with only 8% undecided. Head to head with Sestak, Pat’s lead grows, polling 44% to Sestak’s 38%. In a Toomey/Sestak general election match-up, 13% of the 1,200 respondents polled are undecided.
Today’s poll shows that 13% of Pennsylvanians are undecided in a match-up between Pat and Joe Sestak. We need your help right now in order to target that critical 13% next year. Please consider donating to our tight race today. A contribution of $5, $10, $50 or even $100 will go a very long way to helping us reach our end of year goals.
Thanks very much for your continued support,
Mark
